Wow that tank is goodlooking I like those rocks. Maybe it will look more real if you remove some of those artificial plants but that only my opinion.

I did try live plants for a while. To avoid a lengthy story, we'll just say that the outcome was less than desirable. While I prefer the overall look of the live plants, I prefer not to deal with the hassles that accompany them. Without any plants, the tank looks barren. So, while i do appreciate (and somewhat agree with) your opinion, I choose to keep the artificial plants as a happy medium. In all actuality, the plants don't look half as bad in person as they do under a 12x optical zoom (i guess that's one of the few downfalls of having a good digital camera).Wow that tank is goodlooking I like those rocks. I believe you are refering to the Neolamprologus brichardi, Commonly refered to as a Lyre tail Cichlid, or a Fairy Cichlid.Hi SK, what the name of the fish in the 2nd pic? Thanks.
you ordered them or from a lfs?Thanks all, just a little update, Added in 3 Lamprologus meleagris yesterday, They seem to be getting along well. Will post some pics once they all get settled in.
