Give them as much shells as you can. They would be happy having to choose from different varieties of shells for themselves. The dominant male would most likely bury the shells not being used, Also use sand as a substrate but not too thick. It would be fun seeing them blowing jetstreams into the sand. Mine spawned using a combo of apple snail shells, and also some seashells too, even if it is not their preferred shell

Cool, that makes it a lot easier for me. I was looking for the Neothauma shells. I can get apple snail shells at the lfs. Thanks.
