Tank 4ft x 2ft x 3ft (H) and overflow to sump tank ( Need some advise )

Hi,

i have some questions to ask if anyone can guide or help.

1. Overflow to below very noisy as like water fall. - How to solve this problem ?
2. Sump motor is eheim 1264 and it variation the whole pipe. - How to solve this problem ?

Anyone can help and guide please advise me. thanks guys !!!

Google "Durso stand pipe" will help a lot for the first issue. Try setting the pump on a sponge, but be careful not to cover the intake, a hard piece of rubber would be better. Also I've had submersable pumps that had suction cups on the bottom. Check the bottom of the pump for holes that you can plug in suction cups
