TANK ALL CLEAN!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
How many canisters? I think I've said it a few times, but they are fluval 405s. Two of them.

all fish are acting fine. but sure enough the tank is a little greener and cloudier not as bad but im sure give it another day and it will be. is it time to turn to chemicals/medications? or still wait it out?
I apologize, I missed you posting it before. Having 2-405's should be more then sufficient I believe for filtering the 135. I agree with pops there's no reason for meds unless the fish are sick, which judging by what you've said so far they seem fine, it's more or less just a clarity issue. As for chemicals, if your talking about filtration I said how I felt about it in my last post, in my opinion it's not necessary. How ever if you do want you can add besides the extra bio max and poly fiber some real polishing pads which filter out much smaller particles then the poly fiber and some Acurel f to help increase the efficiency of the mechanical filtration. As well as keeping up with the water changes.

Just added 2 small live plants. Annibus I believe. Guy at LFS said I can just attach them to the drift wood since I have no sand or gravel. If it helps I'll add a few more live plants

That's a fine choice my friend. Anubias are really hardy and dont really require lots of light. I have them in my bichir and gulper tanks. Hows the bloom going? I just suffered from another bloom myself. Lost my delhezi and a ropefish that way. Tank finally cleared up with the addition of another trickle filter. Hope yours clear up soon. Very annoying thing to happen
