Tank backround Q's

i got a new tank and the bacl and bottom are solid white
i was hoping to make the back blue or black but as the actual back is white is there any thing i can put on the inside of the tank a paint or the like?

Depending on how big the tank is, you could always try to get a piece of black plastic or acrylic sheet and place inside the tank as a background.

its a 110 gal arcrylic

or you could go with a diy background. usually people carve it to look like rocks or roots, but you could just leave it flat if you dont want to get too fancy with it

do a search in the DIY forum for "DIY background". it should turn up lots of build threads.

if the white is just paint, it should be just as easy to scrape it and repaint.

you could paint the inside with krylon fusion or similar, but it will be permanent.
