update everyone. Things have gone a different way for me. This tank will be undergoing a change to the most "hi-tech" low tech setup. Good bye stems.
Man! I got home last night and yanked everything out too! I only kept the blyxa and the hygro. Going for a super-simple low maintenance high tech setup...is that possible??? :) My tank was planted too heavily and I was having problems with sickly looking and algae on the lower parts of my stems plants, while the top portions were doing great. I didn't like it anymore.

So nothing but a field of blyxa and a hygro wall in the back. I may add some rockwork, not sure yet. I just really love the blyxa grass field and I'd hate to have to get rid of some to fit rocks. Blyxa has been growing like wildfire! And it's getting tall too

The blxya field would look freakin sweet. I just added the anubias I got from Mgamer20o0. Hopefully in a few weeks once the leaves begin to turn the right direction and sprout some new ones, I can be brave enough to snap some pictures.

Great tank! If I hang out in this section too long I'm going to start a planed tank:D

Just what I need. something else to spend money on:D

BY the way, I like your avatar and signature, I'm a Canon guy too. Trying keep the flow of L glass going and put together a couple of nice aquariums.
