Tank busters

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I dont know, I hear a lot on various threads about tankbusters, but I have yet to hear from ANYONE who has actually had this happen to them. Maybe an aro knocked off their tank top or something, but as far as bursting the glass, not one yet claims to have seen it happen. Urban myth? How would any fish have enough inertia underwater to b :headbang2 urst a piece of glass. Could a human do it?

i dont thinik a human could but fish were litteraly born to swim. i have seen one of my fish go from 1 end of my 100g to the other in like 1second. I have heard of snakeheads breaking tanks but thats about it

I had a saxtillis pike cichlid ram a rock into an end panel on a 35 gallon tank hard enough to crack it into several pieces, water all over the floor. Scared the hell out of me. Fish was only about 10".

my worst tankbuster I have ever had was this big *** arapaima gigas they grow pretty quick I had one at 15 inches and was 20 inches in a month.RTC's and pacus do grow pretty quick too but I have never kept them to long because I dont care for them much...:woot:
