Goldfish are as dirty or dirtier then your arow! Just breakdown and do your water changes more often.
I agree... and if you put a koi there now his also going to eat you aros food.

There are several fish that eat fish waste including several african barbs, but nothing beats a good gravel vac. Also adjusting a filter output or power head so that it stirs the bottom water with current will lift the waste so that it is captured by your filter.

so you want a fish that eats, but doest poop??? :nilly: just because the waste isn't visible doesn't mean it's not there.

Didn't say I wanted a fish that doesn't poop as the title of this thread suggest. I just wanted some fish the makes my tank look clean. I make sure the water params are good. I know just because it isn't visible, doesn't mean it it not there. Geez we would get alot further in this world if people tried to open minded, but I guess that's just too hard to ask for. Like the person who posted about just trying to use a powerhead to let ther filter suck up the waste. Now that was a very upminded answer, that's someone who will get far in like thinking like that.

I tried crayfish, they cloud up the water and will try to eat your fish, the ate some of my feeders and african cichlids. They can eat a jumbo 6 inch shrimp in 3 minutes. I some freshwater red lobster crayfish that were about 6 inches

then maybe you should have worded things a little differently. like...how can i keep my tankfloor looking clean.

i use the powerhead method on my rhom tank. it does work great.

Just for giggles I will mention that not only are there fish that eat fish poop, but there are fish that live almost exclusively on bird poop, bat poop, and hippo poop.
