tank cover hold downs

need help. i was wondering what you guys are using to hold down your cover on your tank? i have a 125g with an all glass top.

In the past when i kept an Aro,i used free wieghts,5 pounders across the whole top.

how thick is the cover glass for ur tanks?? mine is 6mm and its heavy as **** on the 100g ill make it like to glass cover on the new 400g so i can lift it. weight of glass is 2,5kg for each 1m3 thats 1mm thick

the glass that i have is 3/16" thick. i was wondering if anyone might be using clamps or something different to hold down their glass tops?

I have heard of people using velcro before for fish that jump.

I have used a variety of brass cabint latches glued to the cover and tank rims, there are a lot that work, here are a couple examples

thanks guppy. thats what i was trying to get at. sorry for the miscommunication that i was giving, but i think that i'll try those latches. thanks again for the help in this matter.

I use harry potter books. But ill admit it looks tacky but its only for a little bit those clips would probly be better
