Scenario: Bonus 125 gallon aquarium with dwarf cichlids and a large breeding Corydora school. Which "style" would you go with? I am not a "crispy" water guy, I prefer what ma nature provides. What would you model?

Option "A" blackwater stream, slow moving dark water with thick dark wood, white sand and smooth stones.

Option "B" mangrove swamp with roots dangling in the tank, white sand and smooth stones.

B

either one is gonna look sick, take some pics when you end up getting it set up, personal preference for me is the blackwater setup

i would personally do A because i did it in my living room tank, and when i got the water to look brownish it looks sick.

I would love to see choice B with the mangroves growing out of the tank. Will this become another epic build thread? I hope so. You have turned tank design into an art form. Which ever you decide will look amazing, I'm sure. Any chances of Mud Skippers in choice B or is that too much of a stretch? I foresee ACLOCKWORKORANGE eating all of your wife's food during this next build!

I say go with the mangrove, it would definitely be harder to do a true mangrove but it definitely be sweet.
