Tank Divider?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i think there is a all plastic ones.

I use plastic perspex and drill my own holes in it so that you can drill holes to the size you want and as many as you want, also if ur breeding fish they can still see the fish on the other side of the perspex and that takes ther mind off of beating the kak out of each other. You can normally get massive sheets of clear, tinted or coloured from any DIY shop. To secure it i use rocks at the bottom and i sillicone metal loops/hooks that hook over the top of the tank then i suction cup them in place. Has worked really well for me with eartheaters and severums

yep, 4 at that top, 4 in the middle, and four at the bottom. rocks at the bottom just to be safe.

thanks, thats what I needed to know.

Thanks also to 26pets... I was just about to start a thread on the same topic.:headbang2

I use the white plastic peg board from Lowes and krylon it black. Then I use the suction cups that hyan posted to hold it in place. I dont like to use that white checkered stuff. It looks tacky and it lets small fish through.

I think the best idea would be a piece of acrylic. And silicon it. And drill some holes through it. So it doesn't really look tacky.

Used zip ties to hold the egg crate to the PVC, which helps keep it stable. Not very pretty but it kept the haits apart until she was ready to breed. You can almost see the male and fry behind it, in the 150 gal tank it was in. Had to use rocks on the horizontal PVC to hold it down, the male hait is strong.
