tank ethics

Rick's Pet Shop in Frederick, MD. that has held a 12" Oscar in a 10g tank for over a year for sale for $100, and 2 Silver Arowana's in the another 10g tank that are 8" long for sale for $160.
 
i hate it when i see mis treated fish at places like walmart dead and dying fishes fill the tank and they wont treat diseases like ich and fungus

I couldn't agree more..apart from the *** silver dollars, that is....:ROFL:
 
My girlfriend overfeeds terribly. 20g tank. Refuses to do water changes and yells at me for dripping when I try to do them. 5 fish that only grow to be 1" more than I feed my 4 Pacu, Tinfoil, and Bala in my 55... more frequently. Shes always like "the Pleco and Catfish will clean it up. Don't worry.
 
people who ask what kind of monsters they can have in there 10 gallon aquariums.

Nova and Delgado, this is not the thread, but I couldn't agree less with you guys..african cichlisds and sa or central american ones don't mix...( eventually one can have the same water conditions betwen african tivers and s american rivers ) but if you're talking malaawi and oscars, or tanganika and severums?!?!? apart from being an anti natural mix, it would win, hands down, the most ugly tank contest..

those two simply don't mix:) :) :) :) :)
