Tank idea for an 90gal

IMO an oscar would be fine in a 75 and they make great wet pets. But 90 would be much better and gives the opportunity for a slightly smaller tankmate, like a raphael catfish.

I think the trend is to Always suggest that the tank is too small for the fish to live, thrive and survive... It's really easy to suggest that either the tank is too small or the fish will get to big...

That being said, a bigger tank is Always in the best interest of the fish... but not Always necessary.

Why is that ? I mean this trend of everything is to small when talking about oscars gotta look for this thread but will post it later where they were saying an O needs an 8ft tank min... I haven't been in the hobby for a long time so im sure allot of new and better methods were developed along the way but some of this seems like over kill....I think an O would be good in a 90 I would put a cat in there too .... smaller one

I'd say either a single Platydoras armatulus or Agamyxis pectinifrons.
