going with this idea now i just need to save up some money but wat is the usual price difference between the bamboo shark and the epualet shark?

Assuming you are talking about the most common bamboo, the brownbanded, then the price difference will be in the range of 200 bucks.

I wouldn't be worried about the cost of the shark, it is a pittance compared to what you will have to spend to set up a tank that the shark can live in.

hi i was thinking of setting up a huge tank 400-500 gallon tank with a powerful filter and live rock and other rock in it with coral sand i was thinking of houseing a large blacktip grouper,one bamboo or epulet shark,one jeweled eel,one chain eel,cortez ray and one or two other larger fish like large butterfly fish or tangs but was wondering if i would be able to put some large brain corals and a sponge up towards the top of the tank would this be possibal?

would a cleaner wrasse be an okay tankmate with the above and a shark?

Yes, but they are very hard to keep. They rarely adjust to aquarium foods and can't find enough in the tank to sustain themselves. I personally would not try it.

Had them out in LA eating NLS...man was I tempted.

Should have brought that back instead of the undulated, which is now at work anyways.

puffers might annoy the shark or ray , the nly prob i can see with the corals is the shark nocking them over

will a cowfish get along with epualet shark,jewel moray,chain moray,blacktip grouper and tangs or wrasses?

Im going to say no. They are slow movers, and dont like company. Easily stressed as well from what I understand.
