Tank is Cracked!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
What do you guys think of adding any of these to the current stock list (assuming no more die)

Current:
P. bifas
BGK
TT eel
Rotkeil severum
Texas
Indo Dat

Thinking about some or all of these:
Normal/BG JD
Polleni (Madagascar)
Severum - preferred a Super red but not too picky
Cuban
Festae (prefer female)

Would also like to put a catfish/pleco in there at some point but I'm not sure what to add. Suggestions welcome! Nothing too large or predatory. Footprint is 6x2x2 = 180 gallons.

My lfs has a few pollenis right now and I'm really tempted to grab one after my tank is healed up finally.
Any suggestions or different fish to think of?

Black ghost will be beaten up and possibly eaten. They do not get 16 inches like people say. At least not fast. Mine i have had for 4 years and it has put on an inch.

Update...

Came home and discovered my rotkeil dead. Solid 9" measured.

Now I have lost 6 of my fish. Only 5 remain.

:( sorry man,,, what a bad run of luck.

:( that was a nice sized sevrum. its gotta suck losing so many fish. But don't be discouraged and try looking on the bright side, now you get to get new fish!

Yeah I'm trying to see the bright side thru all of this. I'm looking into other fish to replace now but I can't stand the thought of losing my most favorite fish.

I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

I had something similar happen recently. It sucks. I lost my daughter's first fish, the very first fish we put in the tank (an otocinclus), and the fish we had with the most personality after my ray, a yoyo lack that went from an inch when we got him to about 4 inches when he died. We also lost a bunch of other community fish. It hurts, especially when you think you're out of the woods and the hits just keep coming.
