Wow what a horrible situation. My sympathy goes out! I've had similar experience with 50 fish or so die from not turning my air back on after a wc and then a foolish error with some osmotic shock on some discus......my condolences
all three are still alive today.
-My texas is sliming up a lot but is wanting to eat some.
-Dat is eating a bit now too. Very itchy
-Tt eel is coughing but not eating yet.
Going to inspect replacement tank and hopefully bring home today. If all goes well we will have the tank on the stand and I will start cycling with a female convict since she isn't contaminated.

We have the tank loaded on the truck. Went into the lfs and found a tank with festaes! They are holding all four for me to choose from whenever I get my tank set up and running right!

I have the new tank home and on the stand in place where it belongs! Tomorrow I will be testing the level and filling up slightly. I have already hooked up my FX5 and cleaned it out with new media replaced. If everything goes smoothly I'm hoping to have a fully running tank by tomorrow night with a little convict to help the cycling along. I'll update tomorrow!
I'm really excited about getting some festaes soon, too!
I'll do something like this I think. I'm just trying to save some money but I also want to speed it up a little. Especially since I might be able to get more of the fish I am wanting sooner.
