i got a tank of a buddy like a week ago i filled it up and saw it was leaking it was leaking from were the front glass and the side meat at the top to like the middle it looks like the glass separated a little. so i empty ed it and the glass came back to gether so i resiliconed it and let it sit for like a week and then filled it. it was doing alright it held water for 3 days and out of no were the glass separated again and leaked all over. i don't know what else to do. it a oceanic glass tank its a 150 the glass is 3/4 inch thick its a old tank with no center support

Im not an expert, but what I would do is, I would empty it again, wait till its fully dry and reseal it. But this time cut away all the old silicone, the one you put and the original thats on there. Then reseal it good. Maybe do a reseal job, wait a wekk for it to dry, then maybe add another layer over that one. I may look sloppy, but you can make it neat but cutting some away with a razor blade. After all this is done, do a test 1st before addign anything in it. Fill it up and leave it about a week like that. Have it outside or something so that if it does leak the water doesnt damage anything in your house. Theres some websites out there that can guide you through re-sealing jobs, might wanna check those out too.

That's exactly right. You have to get all of the old silicone off or it will never seal correctly. The Doctor.

I think you obviously need a center brace. The water is pressing the glass outwards causing the seperation. Give the silicon some help holding the glass in place by adding a venter brace!

can i just reseal the one corner the rest of the tank is doing good. and can i buy a new top molding with a brace or make one?

Yeah a brace sounds like a good idea. Do a good sealing job and add a brace. Be patient and take your time and you should have it good to go.

I dont know what to say, you can just seal that corner and leave the rest alone. But I dont know if this will pose a problem later.

About adding a brace, I dont know. Im not familiar with that so you need someone elses opinion. But like I said, theres some websites that walk you through repairs on tanks. might wanna take a look at that too.
