What is a blanket going to do? LOL! I've left tanks outside on a patio all winter with no problems. Set them up in the spring time with no leakers. As long as no water gets in them and freezes, they will be fine.

Water can get in them and freeze and they will still be fine, as long as the water isnt sealed in, it still has room to expand and contract. I had a pile of tanks behind my garage for a few years, they had snow, water, bugs, you name it get in them, and never once had any leaks when they were set back up.
Awesome news guys! I got a used 180 today that I only had one friend to help move so there was no way it was making it into my basement. So it's in the garage for now.
