Tank levels good...fish dying?my pbass...

Ya....I threw in 2 small albino channel cats as well. All safeway had was lemon scented.
 
Until I find some ammonia. When I find some ammonia I'll pull them out. I thought I should have a few fish in the tank to create ammonia if I cant find it in the store....right?

They have the possibility of getting Ammonia poisoning and dying, but other than that...:(
 
So I should take them out? My ammonia levels arent that high yet. When should I pull them out?
 
okay fish will come out as well as plants. Do you have any ideas on how to get my raphaels out of the fake log. Its to big to go in my 55g and they are up inside the log...the holes are to small to get anything in to get them out. You think they would come out before they ran out of air if I too it out of the water?
 
OMG just take the log out and put it in tank water from the 55 gal in a rubbermaid tub and put an airstone in it until they come out! Seriously listen to what these people are telling you!!!!
