Friday night, fish tank cleaning night. I got the 100g reef tank. Making the ro water and testing everything takes a couple hours. Next is the 135g fresh. 50% change there and in the 20g turtle tank too. Then its the 25g reef which, because of the testing takes about as long as the 100g. Could be longer if I need to change filters and cjean skimmers.

That's not exactly an option during the months when the temperature is well below 30F. I do use the water hose in the summer, so it takes far less time to fill up then, but it still takes a while to clean out to begin with.
have you tried using the washer connections? one is hot water.

i gave up and they have been swimming in a vast pile of poo that has been accumulating for years

lol, what a horrible fish keeper :banhim:

About 30 minutes every 2 weeks for me. I only have the one tank so it is very quick and easy. The bit that takes the longest is scrubbing the algae off of the glass.

15~45mins every week.

Just vac the entire base and refill would take 15~20
Every 3 weeks, I clean my FX5 which would take up to 45 mins
