only 7 to 8 baby fishes.

those babies will need a very huge aquarium eventually

just because they look like they fit, doesnt mean they will for long, the will soon die from ammonia poisoning.

im intending to change them to the larger tank in time to come. i noe they will grow bigger in times to come..

The water is NOT ready for them. Your tank has to run for quite some time before adding anything...baby or not. PLEASE read up on the proper water cycle of your tank BEFORE you can add anything to it. PLEASE READ UP !!!

You might have trouble keeping your fish in even a 4ft tank as babies...you want to stick with small fish and cycle the tank. You can't add too many at once, maybe like 2-3 tetras at once. If you want to keep the larger fish like bichirs and rtcs you need a much much bigger tank.

but it is worth it if he's gonna continue to try this...hopefully SQ86 will pay attention to what everyone is saying. Frustrating...I get it!

Those RTC's would outgrow the tank in a matter of days :P and probably already were to large for the tank.

I'm guessing he messured the top of the tank at 1' which would make it a 10G.

Wow that is an insane bio load for such a small tank, not to.mention how cramped those fish must have been.I really hope the op does his research to do it right the next time
