tank mate for flowerhorn

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i have a t.moorii with my 5' flowerhorn, it gets chased but i provide it with alot of hiding places, so i think if you have something for it to hide in and the flowerhorn cant get to it then you'll be fine, also make sure whatever you put with your flowerhorn make sure its FAST!

lol, thanks...my main problem is the FH is smaller than her old tankmates. My big catfish could easily swallow her, as he's eaten many other fishies, but doesn't.And he is fast... He took many of a beating instead. I thought about buying something big enough for the catfish and his "children" to escape into, but then the FH would be able to go on in after them.

I think a homemade divider or finding a cheap, bigger, do-able tank for her are my only options....

But, I'm still gonna try putting her in the original tank again. She's such a beauty. You'd think a 265g would be sufficient for her to, um, mind her own buisiness...
