Tank mate for specific reason.

My tank no has a problem with small river shrimp. They've bread and are multiplying.
My aro is not too interested in them, it wants M.Shrimp and feeders. My tank is not big enough for a ray for life so i don't want one.
What else can live with an aro for life and will eat all the shrimp?
Will a few clown loaches do it? I like them, I want a nice looking tank mate.
My big parrot fish would eat them but it constantly chases and bumps it so i had to remove it.
Help and advice apreciated.

I think the biggest parrot fish i had was a cross breed.
Do they show any agression to tank mate or get protective over space?

How about an EEL,Tire track or Fire Eel perhaps.

I'd still like to know about the severum, regarding agressions or protectivness od area.

My fish is an aro c.m would just be silly. Feet, i'd be charging people to come and have a look so would have the staff and knowledge regarding public aquarrium stocking.
so it only really leaves inches.

^How many would you consider a "school" and what do they eat after that? I presume sinking pellets?
