I have two EBJD's one is about 2" the other is about 1.5", and im looking for some tank mates for them, im thinking maybe some sort of severum, or something. maybe some sort of tropical fish, like a red tailed shark or something? i have a 55 gallon tank. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. please and thank you.

yeah +1, i would wait to add tankmates until they are a bit bigger, you could maybe add a school of some kind of peaceful tetra to bring them out of hiding if they are being shy but thats about it until they get a bit bigger, also be sure to keep an eye out for parasites since these guys are prone to it, at the first sign of white/stringy poo treat them with jungle parasite clear tabs
I'd definitely wait, as it takes them a long time to grow out. I would add some schooling fish for now. I'd go with some kind of Tetra's or Tiger Barbs, if you did the Barbs make sure you got about 6-8 of em though. That way they don't bother your EBJD.
