If you have a LARGE tank try some peacock bass. I have seen them together in tanks before so I decided to try it. I have a 6-7" Pbass with my motoro of about the same size. The bass swims at all levels and never molests the ray and is far too powerful and fast to allow the ray to get him. The bass also grows quick! Unfortunatly the bass eats alot like a ray and thefor ****s alot like a ray so you have to be on top of you h20 changes! Also sadly my bass is growing too fast for me to upgrade the tank so he is going to live happily in my buddies 600gal pbass only tank when he hits about 12"!
