tank mates for a 13" endli

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
and make sure not a pleco, they dont do well either. i've seen bichirs and rays together fine, long as they cant eat each other, but deathcurl could be right on the majority of incidences

yeah i figured the ray would be some what of a pizza.... but eh who knows other then that i figure I am going to go with a gar or something nasty for the surface either that or an Electric catfish just to teach him not to eat tank mates lol (joking):D

Yes, keeping bichirs with rays can lead to potential problems... but yet it is NOT impossible?!! :uhoh: Be sure to monitor the tank frequently, if you do choose to do so. GL! :)

I guess everypone missed the fact that you only have a 65 gallon tank. That alone is to small for a 13" endi. I cant belive people are recommending rays either for a 65 gallon tank...:screwy:

The electric catfish can only be housed alone and will grow to 39" and need a tank of 135 or more.

Your going to need a much bigger tank for the endi.

Look at the false gars, they dont get that big and will be too quick for the endi

oh and get a bigger tank;)

i agree, that endi can get 20"+ and has already commandered the tank for himself, mine are with a african tiger pike and a cobra pike and syno cats work well with them. but you have too start buying fish the same size as him to realy make this work!!!
