Well I think I'm going to take the plunge and Get a group of 5 Zaire Moba Frontosa for my 120 gallon tank. I would like some ideas for something super colorful thats not too aggressive to add to the tank with them. I would live something really colorful and small to medium sized. I'd love to hear your ideas. I as thinking of getting some Neolamprologus Marunguensis blue fins? I kind of like the look of this fish and think it will compliment the Frontosa. What are some of your suggestions?

None, let them be alone. No Marunguensis, they'll nip the fins and take over the tank like some other colony builders Neolamprologus species.

120gal 4'er? That will barely be enough for the Frontosas.

I'm going to put some of my Burundis with a small group of Moorii (Blue Dolphins). I will leave my Moba by themselves. GL

I didn't realize the Marunguense would be that aggressive. The tank is definetly for the Frontosa. I'm getting 1.5 inch Fronts and letting them grow up in the tank.

If you can get them cheaply a school of cyprichromis make nice colorful dithers although they are likely to be eaten later when the fronts are bigger.Ive got a group of blue flash with my mpimbwe

My 300gal. tank with 8 blue fronts.males are 10 to 12 in.They Live happy with. 20 or so Juli Trans. gombi.geting babys from them take them out when they get to an inch size, 8 lamprologus leipupi, 3 calvus black, 2 compressiceps red fin, 10 synodontis mutipunctatus cats. 1 L 081 pleco.

Do you also feel the Neolamprologus Mararunguense blue fin would be a threat to the fronts? I like the idea of the Gombi with the fronts. Nice looking fish.

I think that yellow labs would look awesome..I am not sure they would work together conisidering the lakes, aggession and size...but it would look cool

I prefer not to mix lakes. This will be my only african tank and I'd like to make it just Tanganiykan.

Really tank is small for anything more than fronts. For short run julies are nice, but when breeding in a tank of this size they will push the fronts out of that area, making the tank even smaller. I would keep this in mind.
