tank mates for geophagus red head

I have my geo's for awhile now and recently upgraded to a 75g and the tank looks so empty after the switch. Just wondering if there are other tank mates between 3-8 inches that are compatible with them? i dont really want any other geophagus species with them or aggressive fish that eats anything that can fit into their mouth. Also i want it to be a different color that stands out other than red base color, silver or green lol i got plants for that. I try putting my jar in with them and after 4 hours there was a battle of century between the parrot and the jar and also my alpha male geo. The geo and the parrot attacks the jar and then when i saw the jar attack back i was too nervous so i took the jar out and put it back in its 100g bucket. The reason for the fight was probably because the jar kill the male parrot and ate the geo's friend a while back when they were in my 30g. Why put the jar in? i wanted to see it every day because it looked nice rather than in a closed up bucket in my bathroom but owell. Just looking for one fish tho not schooling fish or anything. thank you

Tank mates as for now:
1x Female Parrot Cichlid
4x Geophagus RHT
3x oto
 
do they eat oto's? thats wat i am worried about and i dont want to spend too much on food for carnivorous fish since the jar is killing me already with my wallet... are there any other fish that has vibrant colors?
 
The Orange Heads won't eat Otocinclus, but depends what kind of Parrot we're talking - nice CA Nic Parrot/Macaw Cichlid, Hoplarchus psittacus SA Parrot, or deformed/disgusting hybrid poster-fish for tattoo/dye/mutilation Parrot.

yeah it is the hybrid one that was my dad's fish for my mom during valentine. My dad cherish it so i had to put it in with the geo's. the female parrot is like a mother to the geo's so yeah. i just want another fish that stands out so much that the first fish color to look at is that one. and by eating oto's i mean EBJD not geos.
