I have what i belive is a microglanis iheringi, could be wrong though as everywhere i read they say 2" is full grown and mine is now 3". Either way he is mellow and I wanted some ideas as to what to put in with him, that wont outgrow my 20H or at least wont outgrow it by too much too soon.
I'd take a better pic if i ever saw anything but that face lookin at me from his cocconut .

sorry forgot to add lookin for some oddities or rare stuff, just brainstorming cause i cant sleep really.

Yep, looks like Microglanis iheringi to me. Don't forget the size is listed as 2.2SL, so this excludes tail, but it it not unheard of for fish to be larger than the size listed. There are plenty of other catfish that will be suitable, but for us UK readers, what size tank is a 20 high?

20H is 24x12x16, is that large enough for discus? and if so how many? I haven't really tryed discus before thought they would need a bigger tank.

IMO definitely not large enough for discus.
I'm quite anal about only keeping fish from the same continent together in a tank, so both my tanks only have fish from south america. Your bumblebee is a south american pseudopimelod, and so can be kept with anything large enough not to be considered dinner! You may have to watch neons etc, and any fry will not last long, but with any of the larger tetras (rummynose, bleeding/phantom etc) you'll be fine. Catfish wise, there are plenty of small plecs that would be OK for that size tank, and other catfish include corydoras and banjo catfish to name a few.
Hope that's a start.

darn, really got my hopes up on the discus for a min. there... but in reality I knew it wouldnt work. Dwarf discus.. someone needs to get working on that project. :)

one or two can go in thare

dont do tiger barbs either. when i got my siamese it was in with some tiger barbs and it polished them off, they were about an inch long and he was only about an inch and a half. like a miniature gulper. gourami's would do well.

yeah I been in the hobby about 15 years and most of that has been working fish shops, so all the common place things hate to say sorta bore me. I mostly looking for something really odd or rare to catch my eye when i walk by the tank.
