no a oscar need a bigger tank. u could do a blue acara or a firemouth.

Also a GT would work, smaller species of Crenicichla like the dwarfs or a Sveni, upper jaw species of Bichir would be ok like a Sennegal, Catfish, medium sized cichlids like the before mentioned GT, Firemouth, Blue Acara, Salvinni, or a Grammodes(will need a bigger tank eventually).
