Hold on... you think I have 5 O's? No, I have one.

Aquanero;4265686; said:I read the stock incorrectly, I saw 5 6" oscars and I'm thinking why am I the only one thinking this thing is over stocked. In that case you could try a JD in there or some other mid range aggro cichlid. Sorry for not reading it correctly.

Your sizes are a little off...ChilliPepper;4265674; said:I have:
1 Oscar = max 12"
1 Green Sev = 8-10"
1 Red Spot Sev = 8-10"
1 Convict = 5-6"
1 x Poly = 10"
5 fish!

1 Oscar = max 16", possibly 17-18"
1 green Sev = 10-12"
1 Red spot sev = 10-12"
1 Con = 5-6"
1 P. delhezi = 12-16"
Info is from one of KingEl's posts from a few months ago (don't remember where it was posted, I just remember hearing him say before that they can get to that size, and I trust that he was correct). And the "average" O will not stop growing at 12", I'd say 14" is probably average, though it is definitely not uncommon for them to reach 15"+.ChilliPepper;4265703; said:I was a 'little off' with the poly - though max reported size according to polypterus.info is 14". Can't remember all sizes off the top of my head at almost 2am in the morning. Where have you got the info from that they reach 16"?
I am going on average sizes for the O's and Sevs. No way of knowing what size they will stop at as each is unique.
