Tank mates with ANY Polypterus species

I highly recommend Ctenopomas. Ctenopoma make not only great tankmates with poly's, they occur together naturally.
 
I've got guppies and a couple platies in my tank with my Edgar (senegal). No issues with hte platies and female guppies, but the fancy male guppies seem to disappear occasionally....
 
Thank you everyone for great information.. still not sure about who his tank mates will be ..but i have plenty of time to do more research..and now that i found this section of MFK I will visit often and learn..
