Yes , twenty six floor. Its a 30 storey residential building . By the way I am from Singapore.

a 75-90 should be fine.
Floors are designed at 40 lbs per sq ft overall. That is TOTAL floor space not just where you sit the tank. Unless it is sitting on steel legs that have to support that weight on 4 spots you are very safe. I am friends with builders and theycan put 2 tons of lumber in one pile in the middle of a floor that some people worry about a 55 gallon aquaruim sitting on.

I have a 125g and I'm on the 2nd story of an apartment building. It's against a load-bearing wall and butts up against another support wall. No problems.

yeah ok so ill put it against the supporting wall and as a room divider so it should hold but im gonna double check with my grandfather cause he knows a lot about this kind of stuff

Have a professional inspect your sub floor. If ya don't, make sure you get insurance that covers a broken tank and the water damage it causes. But, you might have problems getting a claim paid if its from a tank that was to much for the floor.

Look for $30,000 in damages or more if the floor fails with the tank full of water. (Don't sleep under it.)

That being said, I have a 75 on a load bearing wall of a 3 story cookie cutter apartment. It's fine so far, but that's useless to you, because some homes can hold 180 gallons, there are stories of 75's falling through the floor in other homes. Each floor is different, even a little damage to the subfloor can weaken it.

If you're feeling lucky then just fill'er up, otherwise have it inspected.

All good advice... 70 should work. It is a jump of 240lbs from the 55. Just get a Oak or Pine stand not a metal. I would be more concerned with getting a 160lb. glass box upstairs

I'm guessing you don't run a hose out the window to drain your tank... .
