Tank question

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I wish I have your problem. I would put it in the 180 and set up the 75 as w/d filter. The bio in 75 will adjust as the fish grow. The total volume would be 250gal, more stable, less water change. I'm newbie so I tend to avoid moving fish fr. tank to tank, you can never get the water para in the new tank to be the same, more stress on the fish, why take chance? Use the 30 to grow some snack :)

I agree with the larger.. My opinion is not based on experience. So it is probably not really helpful.. BUt i believe the salt fact... More water is easier :) I think i have \had much better luck with my fish in larger tank :)

Your pictures will be kinda wierd LOl A 4" Aro in a 72 inch tank LOL It would look like a guppy in a 30 :)

its just that when raising arowanas for show and competition, championship hobbyists like to see everything up close and have absolute control in everything. this pertains to focusing on scale development, catching and returning the fish incase of emergencies, etc
