I just sat here and took the time to read this, and this is what I got out of it:
1. A 17 year old kid who has no idea what work ethic is.
2. Has been sheltered his entire life, and doesn't have to work for a damn thing.
3. Doesn't understand that everything costs money, which you have to work for, therefore, nothing is free for us, so why should it be free for you?
4. You're spoiled. Point blank. "over a grand in possessions"- seriously! When I was 17 and living at home I would have LOVED to have that much in possessions on my bedroom floor. I lived in a trailer with my parents-- The most expensive thing in my room was my nintendo game cube, which new was $100. Not to mention I didn't get a cell phone until I was 18.
I am now 20 years old.. I work 60 hours a week to get what I want.. I bought my own house, and I've got a lot of nice things... I still like things cheap, but I work for what I want, and with todays economy no one can afford to just give things away.
So, get off your @$$ and find a job. Learn what a work ethic is.. you're not too young.
