Tank shots w/ marbles

I also want to point out the snails in the background of the tank pics. They actually do a half decent job at maintaining the algae and disposing of uneaten food. Gotta get the big ones though!

Yeah, everyone loves that knife. Thanks for the compliments guys. I have a royal knife on deck to go with these guys. He is just as nice.

I got the two females rays(one in second pic) from H2O and the male from Grey. I actually like the male the best. Can't wait for them to get it on!
Good luck with the introduction of the royal knife(Chitala blanchi, formerly Vittatus),ive found the Clown knife(Chitala chitala)to be dominant over the former when kept together, having said that it always amazes me what you can often get away with if you have sufficient gallonage.
Without doubt the best clown knife ive ever seen....and believe me ive kept and seen a few.

If you want your marbles to brighten up use a light colored sand and within hours if not minutes they should change drastically in color.

Yeah, been thinking about it. Hoever, I've seen some very nice marbles on black substrate as well. I prefer the black substrate, but would like to see the real potential of the rays as well. Perhaps when I break it down to move we'll see what they are really made of. It will likely just be bare bottom at the very least with the river stones.
