Tank size for breeding?

Wondering what you guys here use to breed your Fhs in? I was thinking 125 at the smallest but I need some input, thanks!

125 seems kind of big but I guess if your breeding fh's that are 8"-12" you might need it.

Mine just made an attempt in a 75. First time for both and the eggs didn't get fertilized.

You can do it in a 60 breeder, but you would need to take out the pair into their own tank. The fries would soon start to be killing in each other in the 60 breeder also.
The bigger the better, all I can say...

Well I have heard a 100+ gallon for a grow out tank...I'll prob go with a 90 then...what about when they get 12" plus?

you can breed in a 20 gallon if you do 50 percent water changes every other day and keep the temp up! and depends on what your breeding. obviously a 2 foot long dovii wont fit in a 20 lol i breed my salvini, and rtm in 29s fry goes in seperate tanks

LOL. Not to be rude, but I don't like this advice that you gave at all. I wouldn't even say it's okay to breed in a 40. We are talking about flowerhorns here, so the question of what your breeding is out of the list. But okay?...
