Tank size for breeding?

As I've said, the bigger the better. Some will start killing each other once they hit the half inch mark. Just make sure you keep them full...or else...:nilly:
 
I bred my 1st FH in a 55 but the parents were 3 1/2" only. Now i have my 7" Fh's in a 125 and can't get them to stop beating each other long enough to breed. As with everything else it depends on the fish in question i guess.
 
depending on how big the fh is. anywhere from 55-100 would be ok. as far as the 20 gallon for 2 fh thats out of the question. once the eggs hatch and frys swim freely fries go into the 20 gallon for a short period.
