Tank size for breeding?

Well I have heard a 100+ gallon for a grow out tank...I'll prob go with a 90 then...what about when they get 12" plus?

As I've said, the bigger the better. Some will start killing each other once they hit the half inch mark. Just make sure you keep them full...or else...

I bred my 1st FH in a 55 but the parents were 3 1/2" only. Now i have my 7" Fh's in a 125 and can't get them to stop beating each other long enough to breed. As with everything else it depends on the fish in question i guess.

A 36 x 18 for standard is a 50 if I'm not wrong. Unless your talking about 36 x 18 x 23 or 24?

depending on how big the fh is. anywhere from 55-100 would be ok. as far as the 20 gallon for 2 fh thats out of the question. once the eggs hatch and frys swim freely fries go into the 20 gallon for a short period.
