Tank size for Channa gachua?

Is there anything wrong with my gachua eating my cichlid's, cichlid pellet food? Just wondering. I've read that channa's die because they're sensitive to whats found in tap water, ammonia chlorine and chloramine, in high doses. So how many times do I water change a week and how many %?

I've have some cichlid pellet food, that i bought for my gachua's but have had no luck getting them to swallow it. They eat it but it all comes out through its gills. So i use it to feed my mealworms to gut load them. Chlorine and Chloramine is harmful to any fish not just channa's. As long as your tank is cycled and your water parameters are ok then your channa's should be fine. They are VERY hardy fish
