Ok, I THINK i have decided i would like to use my 240 gallon for a Arowana when the time comes, ecspecialy since i can legaly have asians here!

Now, what gallon tank would you guys recommend,

What would be the MINIMUM size?(would probaly steer away from this)
and what would be a confortable size tank for the following fish for LIFE

Four Ctenolucius Hujeta, (Fresh Water Barracuda)
Two Clarius Batrachus (Walking Catfish)
One synodontis Ocellifer (Spotted upside down catfish)
One Lctalurus Furcatus (Blue Channel catfish)
One Acanthodoras Spinosissimus(sp?) (Striped Raphael Catfish)
One Apteronotus Albifrons (Black Ghost Knife
One Pimelodus Pictus ("pim pictus Catfish")

Also, I have a Rather large pond outside, so if i put the walking catfish and the chanell catfish out there,
What gallon tank would you recommend for the remainder of fish?

thanx alot,

RyanR

there all tiny, about 2 inches max,

If the Walking Cat and the channel cat, go into the pond,

do you think the Ctenolucius Hujeta Still need a 400 gal?
I have 4 of them, since i was told they are a schooling fish,

Also, Sorry for all the questions, but i just got one more,

Would a Acestrorhynchus Falcirostris(True Freshwater barracuda?)
Fit in with the Ctenolucius Hujeta if its the same size or a little smaller?

would he school with the 4 of them?
Be an outcast?
Or fight/kill or be killed?

thanx again! i have learned so much here in just a short time :)

Sorry, Last question im sure of it :D

What exactly is the difference between
Acestrorhynchus Falcirostris
&
Acestrorhynchus Falcatus

and which would be better suited with the
Ctenolucius Hujeta

and would they be ok in a 125 gal for life,?

without the cats i think a 150 would be more than enough.

Acestrorhynchus Falcirostris gets larger than Acestrorhynchus Falcatus. if i was to try putting them together i would try the smaller of the two. but i only have experience with the hujeta and not the other two.

thanx alot :)

there is also said to be another realative, "Acestrorhynchus isalinae" and it only obtains about 6" max,
tho they are harder to find,

if i can find them, this would be the best option to go with the hujeta? Or since the hujeta get a bit bigger i should go with the mid sized Falcatus? :)

the walking cats would eat almost all the other fish, the upside down, striped raphael possibly bgk and the pictuses.
