120? for all those aggressive cichlids? I don't think so. I would not try it, your just asking for failure. When all those fish get large 120 will not suffice. Maybe to start 120 is okay

i think ur best to just go with like a 240. smaller may work but still. even that may not work if ur fish are aggressive but bigger the better.

I agree with this. I would have to say a bare minimum would be something like a 180 at least.

I would shoot for a 230.

120 is definatly fine for that amount of cichlids. It would be overstocked a bit, but i belive overstocking is a far better choice than understocking.

a 180g would be a waste of money. Either you go small and overstock, or you go HUGE.

He asked for an approriate tank size, he didn't have any questions regarding filtration, which obviously the bigger you go for this stock list, the less filtration you'll need.

I simply stated the tank size, because that was his question.

whether or not he has the experience or filtration to be able to pull off a 120g is not to my knowledge.

the jag alone would warrant a 180 to get to full adulthood. So I'd say 180 at least ideally shoot for an 8ft 240 though.

There's no correct answer for what you need to remove. You might be able to have all of them. You might be able to only have 1 of them.
I agree the personality of your individual fish will dictate what works for them. If you don't have any place to put the wounded then don't get them. Two 75gals. for seperation purposes should help. If you raise young together in that tank, by the time they get older they usually have the pecking order so less chance of death.
