Hello everyone I have 3 types of vieja's that grow to about 16 and less inches and I wanted to know if they would do well in a 125 or 180 and also will I have to upgrade my tank in the future?

yea 180 will do well, 125 will work for a while, would be ok for 2 id say

How big are they now, and what kind are they? They may not be compatible with each other in even a 180.

But, yeah, I agree with the other two - 125 would work, but a 180 would be better.

I have

9"-10"Vieja argentea
3"-4"Vieja fenestratus
4"-5"Vieja synspilum
there not doing bad in the size tank i have them in which is probably in a 20g
but im also thinking about getting
Vieja regani
Vieja hartwegi
Vieja melanurus

10 inch Argentea?? What are the dimensions of the tank? You need to upgrade ASAP if you want to keep those fish.

Melanurus will get beat on trust me. Not a fish with much :FIREdevil more like:lol2: but will turn :wall::owned: when with the more beefy of the Vieja species. keep what you got.

WOOWWW wait a MINUTE a 20 GALLON AND SUCH beautiful fish being stuffed like that WOW dude! I think you need to get an MRI of you head to make sure everything functioning.

You have them divided though, so I'm assuming they are divided because otherwise they will tear each other apart. Get a larger tank and see what works, you might have to give some up. Nice taste in fish nonetheless. :)
