if we got a big enough tank if would definatley be on the basment floor. I think i just came across away to get my wife to let me get a tank big enough for a rtc :D. my wife said if i get her boobies then i can get a tank big enough for a rtc or as big as i want. so if ne one want to donate to the new boobie/MONSTER fish tank fund let me know. hehe

All I gotta say is that sounds like a WIN/WIN/WIN situation all around. In fact it sounds like a situation where you will keep on winning day in and day out!!!

Keep us posted Rock Star!!!

sure is a win win win situation. it will be awhile before either happens though gotta save up the $$$. hopefully it happens sooner than later.

yeah seriously why did you listen to that guy just then
a 8'x4'x18'' would be 300 gallons. not sure 18'' is high enough but hey if you get it custom made you can just 'tell' her it's 300, lol :D

u should just lie to her about the size of the tank, tell her that 300 u were lookin at is actually a 200 and pick up a 400-500 gallon tank, or even better buy a stock pond for ur catfish and have it indoors cus u could easily pick up a 600 gallon one for ur tank, make ur own wetdry, get a pond filter to and some heaters and just build some type of cover so that evaporation and humidity doesn't damage the wood in basement nand it will prob come out cheaper than the glass tank set up u just won't be able to look directly at ur fish, that is what i am doing for my rtc/tsn hybrid getting a 400-500 gallon stock pond and the rest of that to house him, but i will prob house him in the 350 gallon tank that im hopin to buy(waiting for seller to get to me, cus im 3rd on list of interest in it) for maybee a year, and then get a stock pond for him if the deal goes through if not ima just get a stock pond.

we're renting our house right now so we wouldnt be able to do the pond but hopefully by next year we will own a home. then i know i wouldnt have to ask twice about the pond she already said i could once we bought a home.
