Tank size?

Most common ones you'll see in the uk are silvers, surprisingly i've only ever seen a jar in the flesh twice and quite a few asians.

Does the black arowana grow to a smaller size than the silver?

I agree.

Still have potential for a 3'+ fish, but will take longer and probably won't be quite as bulky.

asians aren't rare here at all, there expensive but you can still get greens for £100 or so small if you look around
