I think i might go with a flagtail and some silver dollars and rehome the flagtail once it gets too big for the 125

I would not recommend getting a fish and not having a home for it in advance I would recommend finding someone who wants to purchase a large flag tail and say you will grow one up for them and give it to them when it outgrows your 125 if you can't do this do not purchase you may not think this at the start but it is dangerous to just think "il just re home it".what if nobody wants it in your area and their is already loads in circulation what are you gonna do with an 18 inch flag tail bashing its head around in a 125
I think the rd is a male but im not certain. Hes about 5in rn. He doenst really bother anyone unless they challenge him. Just occasional chasing but no damage. Slavini and cuban are in my other 125 im pretty sure cuban is a female but the salvini i have no idea
Mine seems pretty mellow right now. Its the tank boss right now because it is about an inch bigger than my other cichlids, but it doesn't really pick on the convict or cuban much. The salvini seems to just put them in their place if they decide to get bold.
