The possibilities are nearly endless... Keep the size of the fish in mind and provide plenty of plants and hiding spots. And avoid overly aggressive species such as most Serrasalmus Piranhas, certain Snakeheads, etc. It'll create a ****ty environment and the other fish will mostly resort to either being reclusive or also becoming overly aggressive.

Think of predatory fish like dogs. It's all about memories and experiences. When a dog goes bad, it's bad, and it'll stay bad, unless you're the dog whisperer. Or fish whisperer I suppose.

It's all about creating a healthy environment for your fish. Live plants and other decorations will help with this as well as not overstocking. You'll see your fish at their most active, and their personalities will really come out. This is especially true for Bichirs. Also Ropefish! Get some Ropefish they're awesome :)

70 cm or 27 inches wide ? If thats the case your fine man endli and congi would be ok long term.

Planting polypterus tanks can be hard, expecially for the large lunkers like these. I have to use mainly tied on plants or cryptocorynes with large root systems

Ropefish will get swallowed in no time

I was thinking, 2 endli, 1 ornate, 1 black ghost, i have a pleco but still looking for signs of him sucking on the ornate, then im ready to remove the pleco. As a top swimmer im either going for florida gar, or highback golden arowana. Im open to suggestions though! The tank will be good for lower jaws aswell right?

An arowana may be tight hey? I'd go with the gar as they aren't as active

I have one poly that's constantly cruising, with a few fish there's always some about :)

Yeah don't know, people say its gonna work with a asian arowana, but not with a silver. If it's gonna be to tight i won't do it, want the best for my fish!

Bigger is better and aros love space, you'll find some polys to be mighty active :)
