I have a Coralife digital thermometer

I had seen for most fish the range is usually 72-78. I keep my tank around 76.5.

Mine says between 77-79 now...

My 65gal reef tank is currently at 77.9F/25.5C.

I don't use a heater, but due to heat generated by various pumps and powerheads the temperature can be as much as +10F greater than room temperature (so I use a fan for evaporative cooling).

When you said it stays between 77-79, was that the morning/night readings like I suggested? If so you don't have anything to worry about at all.

Yes. After tweaking the heater settings, that's what it reads day/night

78-80, i think this is a little useless after reading the thread bit further though
