Tank value

Depending on how it has to come out, you're looking at several thousand to have a company come and move it. Is there access to it without taking out a wall?

There was a 10x4x5 complete setup for sale on the SF Bay Area Craigslist for $6,000 (IIRC). Not sure if that's what it sold for (the ad isn't up anymore), but I think that was a really good deal. Acrylic was also 1.5" thick, so empty the tank would weigh 2,000+ lbs.

The used market for big tanks can be tough to gauge.

In regards to moving it, I would agree that it's going to cost you a couple grand, even if it's a short move.

I wish I could have snagged that one up.
Sounds like a deal.
California always has the good deals

Ya that would be an amazing deal. I have just the spot for a tank like that.

Do u really?
I've already got the biggest tank I can fit in my house. And that sucks.
It's a 560. 120 x 42 x 28.
The door ways and hallways are just too small.
I wish I could get a 1500 to fit.
I had a 900. Wouldn't fit even if I took out a wall.
oh well, I'm happy what I got

Yes I do have a spot I could fit one like that actually, currently have a 10x4 in the basement it was not fun to get it there but I got it. That is the main issue I see with buying a tank this size to resell or do other with, it wont fit through doors, it wont fit in most houses period. They take a very special person and house. And being used is another part that will change price a ton especially for the elite that really want one like this and plan for it in their house, overall value I would put at the low end for a tank like that. Probably would be alright selling all the equipment that cam with a tank like that but even that stuff such as pumps loses price fast.

That's the only problem with trying to sell a tank this size.
Anyone that can afford a big house and a big tank, probably wants something new.
Not used.
