Again just curious on some thoughts upon heating a 2000 gallon south american dedicated tank,

The two schemes i've come up with are pumping into a sump and super heating it in that tank, or an in line modified jaccuzzi heater

I was going to suggest swimming pool heater, but its probably the same as a hottub heater
If you want to superheat a sump you could get a hardcore industrial heater and that might work well too

Too vague. Where is the tank located? How much power do you need? If you need "a lot," a gas heater is going to be more efficient.

Otherwise, look into aquaculture style electric models. There are many different types to suit all different types of plumbing.
