Is anyone familiar with a decent tankless water that can be hooked up to a garden hose or the hose spigot/faucet

one of my tanks is not near a hot water source so the water changes are a big hassle especiallyy in the colder months.
in the summer i have 2 prefilled 55 gallon drums so at least its room temp.

If its reasonable to install one of these units then it would make things much simplier and quicker.
thanks

Tankless water heaters are pretty easy. Just a water line and gas line in.

Rheem is probably the most well known and really the only one my brother installs....he owns a plumbing business.
They are all hard piped from what I have seen but maybe an adapter could be utilized....and they aren't cheap. A faucet with a hose adapter and a hose long enough to reach would be more economical....even if you had to buy a few of the best commercial grade hose it would still be way cheaper.
If you go the water heater route, they are demand activated and I don't know if you can regulate the temp very low....

Its at my office
Only have a ten gallon hot water tank. Doesnt help much when changing out a 100+ gallons
There are some cheaper rheem unit. For point of use. It might suffice. Im just not sure of the connections im honna try to stop by my local plumbing suppply store and pick their brain a bit

I have a gas one in my house. One nice thing is you can adjust your desires temperature digitally.

Yeah, that is a small hot water tank!! Well, maybe an electric unit actually under the cabinet would work....they use them under sinks in public restrooms and hotels....

Perhaps a drip system is more practical/economical in this situation.

I researched tankless water heaters a bit when I did my fish room. The conclusion I reached is that the small ones are designed for pretty low flow like one water conserving facet at a time. That was a deal breaker for me, but if you are already using a sink adapter for your hose, maybe it's not a big deal for you? The other problem is it does take a while to heat up the water. Maybe not a big deal for you, but you will need to let the water run for awhile to let it heat up. Also, keep in mind that the electric ones need a lot of amps.. The typical outlet in an office is going to be 15 or 20 amps. I am not sure you can get a tankless water heater that works only on 20 amps (plus is your computer or other stuff sharing the same circuit?) I am not an expert, but the ones I looked at needed a 30 amp dedicated circuit.. so just check that before you buy.

I don't want to be a downer, this would be great if it worked for you, just trying to point out some of the cons.

I think using a tankless water heater is a great idea.

You can get 20amp 120V versions of them for ~$130-$160.

The 20 amp 120V versions are designed to raise the temperature of a single bathroom water faucet about 20 degrees above the input water temperature. If you have 60 degree ground water temperature, that means it heats it up to 80 degrees, which I'm assuming is around the range you're looking for?

Downside is that they're slow, 3 gallons per minute tops, and the ones I see have a 3/8" hose input/output.

Still, I think it beats your other options.
